The Trustee Board

All the sections, along with the Group in general, are managed by our Group Scout Leader, John, – who in turn is line managed by the District Commissioner.

The Group itself is a registered charity, and as such is managed by a board of trustees known as The Trustee Board.

The Trustee Board is made up of volunteers, mainly leaders or parents of children in the Group, and exists to manage the Group’s funds and assets. It is chaired by Martin Bateman.

The Trustee Board is responsible for maintaining our building, supporting the leaders in delivering a high quality programme for our members and managing the finances of the Group.
